Over the next few weeks TTG will be posting the before and after pictures of a residential renovation project they undertook this past year. They will be including insights that may be of help to those of you pursuing similar projects. These first pictures are of the main staircase. The railing height was lower than current building codes required and children could fall through the open areas. The builder inspector required extensive changes. TTG enclosed the landings, created "waterfall" stair treads and designed a sleek, steel railing that complied with current standards.

One of the hot new color trends for 2014 is GREY.
TTG combined grey lacquer cabinets with a beige solid surface counter top. Honed calcutta marble tiles were installed above the counter tops which related to both counters and cabinets. Thus, a harmonious blend of the warm and the cool was created.

Winter Wonderland
About this time of year, folks in Michigan start dreaming about the warm days of summer. Unfortunately, those days are months away. I'd like to share a few decorating ideas that not only will make those months bearable but will make them enjoyable.
